Having blown up a stereo before by supplying to much voltage I'd try it out on 19 volts first. Mind you I was feeding it 240 volts when it was only meant to take 120.

The problem is that it's one of those universal types where I have to set the voltage. The voltage runs from 15-20 in 1 volt jumps. My inspiron 1150 seems to need 19.5 volts. Should I use 19 or 20? > I hate this adapter > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:162157 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
