Sony apparently knows the market is dumb enough not to be able to distinguish between what is prerendered or doctored video and what is real footage.
Something that Microsoft should have considered before running games on actual dev kits. They should have put together some really impressive pre rendered scenes and done exactly what Sony did and put that out there for people to lap up. Because let us face it, at the end of the day whether none of the demos for the PS3 were running on anything close to actual hardware or not, they did steal the show. And that's all Sony really cared about. Explaining the rest in the media afterwards is not an issue, people will remember the demos at the show itself, and the media frenzy right at that point. 99% of the time it seems that fooling the people works perfectly for the period it is supposed to :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:162369 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
