Exactly. I'll admit, I haven't read up much on fusion since it was interesting 20 years ago but the idea of much less dangerous by-products was one of the big appeals. Which is why I thought Gruss's quips about Marseilles were odd. Especially considering that the US already had an experimental reactor and Princeton is still around last I checked.
