A Caipirinha (pronounced ky-pee-REEN-ya) is a drink made with Cachaa, Lime,
and Sugar. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----

a.. 1 large or two small limes
b.. 2 heaping tablespoons of sugar
  c.. 3 ounces of cachaa
  d.. crushed ice

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----

First cut the lime into eight wedges. Put the pieces, peel down and pulp up
(or remove the peel), into a 10 oz drink glass. Sprinkle the sugar on the
lime. Crush the sugar into the lime with a wooden pestle. (Be careful to
not crush the lime skin very much, as this adds a bitter quality to the
flavor.) Pour the cachaa over the lime. Shake or stir well. Add ice. If
you use vodka instead of cachaa, it's a caipiroska; with rum, it's a
caipirissima.
