Oh, it occurs to me that there are religious references in both Big
Time ("and I will kneel in a big church, as I pray to a big god... and
my heaven will be a big heaven and I will walk through the front
door") and In Your Eyes ("I see the doorway to a thousand churches").
Neither of which likely fit the category...Looking at the discographies for Gabriel and Genesis I see Visions of Angels - Genesis (not familiar with it) The Guaranteed Eternal Sanctuary Man - Genesis - same In the Beginning - Genesis - same the Serpent - Genesis - same Jesus He Knows Me - Genesis - same Here Comes the Flood - Gabriel - also haven't heard it - might not be a mythical reference Blood Of Eden - Gabriel - haven't heard There's a song about "the restless soul of gallileo" -- I don't remember the artists name -- female... very philosophical song, but it's about reincarnation ... sorta... I dunno, it's hard to interpret... but I guess, it would fall into the religion category if you include references to religious concepts and consider reincarnation to be a religious concept (I don't know how you could consider it to not be a religious concept). Oh... and I forgot to mention I saw a song by the Monkees called Jericho... haven't heard it, so I don't know what the content is... If you include some older mythology, Jethro Tull recorded a song entitled A Cold Wind to Valhalla.
