How is the hospital responsible? In what way? I agree with you that it sucks for the family - that was never in doubt. The child doesn't have a dad, the mom doesn't have a husband, etc. I just don't see where the hospital is responsible. The guy passed out at the sight of a needle. How is that the hospital's fault? I could see if they knew what his reaction was going to be, and didn't plan for it, but there was no mention of that in there at all.
