now you tell me.

I just went through the most harrowing experience like..ever. *sigh*
Norton Ghost didn't do jack sh** to ease my pain, and neither did
Partition Magic.

Windows refused to run from the new hard disk no matter if it was the
only one in the system, or regardless of how it was parittioned. I
spent about 6 to 7 hours this Sunday trying to sort things out.

Eventually, I just wiped the entire new disk and dropped a fresh copy
of Windows XP onto it. I've been reinstalling programs since. I
managed to get my old .pst files into Outlook, and a few games run so
sound,graphics, CPU etc. is fine.

Now it's just to install all my programs, from CF to Dreamweaver MX.
I'm going to try to install the applications afresh and then copy over
the old application folders from my backup of the D-Drive from the old
hard disk to try to save my app settings as much as possible.
