"The US Department of Justice has decided to take a closer look at Adobe's acquisition of graphics rival Macromedia. Spurred by concerns over the future of the high-end graphics and web authoring software market once the transaction goes through, antitrust regulators have requested additional information from the two companies. The DOJ is especially interested in what will happen once the old GoLive vs. Dreamweaver and Illustrator vs. Freehand competition ceases under the suddenly larger Adobe umbrella. When the deal went down in April, it caught just about everybody by surprise. The two have waged a long battle for the hearts, wallets, and hard drives of both graphic artists and web developers for years. While Photoshop has been the 800-pound gorilla of photo editing software, Adobe has never been able to make much headway against Flash. Buy Macromedia, problem solved." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Now thereâs a better way to fax. eFax makes it possible to use your existing email account to send and receive faxes.
