Yep.

A close friend of mine was an engineer on the Apollo project until either 10
or 11 (he never got to deal with the excitement of 13).

He's even got a neat little medallion with a sliver of moon rock in it (it
was given to all the participants).

What those guys (and these current guys) are doing is amazing on so many
levels.
