You can sort on mutliple columns if you edit the view.  You can create
custom views for any folder, or all folders.

Outlook's rules are "fine", but not "great".  The best feature they
could put in Outlook would be regular expression support in the rules.

Am I interpreting my inability to do this that you can't set up an or
clause in an Outlook rule.  I would like to be able to sort messages if
they are sent TO a given address OR have a given phrase in the subject
line.  But I can not see anyway to do this.
