Has anyone heard of MSBill.com ? Ever had any dealings with them? I just got an email from MSBill.com, saying that the charges they made on my credit card were assigned to the wrong merchant (it was the banks mistake) and they apologized.
So, I'm here thinking "Who is MSBill and why are they making charges to my credit card." I call them up via the 800 number in the email; and ask them exactly that. They are an on-line transaction place; and said they were billing my card because I "bought something online." but couldn't look up what it was without my credit card number, which I refused to give. ( I buy plenty of things on-line, but have yet to have heard of or be billed by MSBill ) They tried to look it up via my email address, but could not find me in the system, saying that the email search was case sensitive. They were also very vague as to what type of credit card transactions they process, trying to say "did you sign up for any memberships recently?" No, I didn't. So, I end that phone call without any answers. A search through my credit card statements from the past 3 months does not reveal their name, nor the name of the merchant they say the charge incorrectly appears under. Two hours later, I get a second email from them saying the same exact thing. I'm still clueless, although there is one credit card statement ( that should be on the way to me, already taken off-line ) that's unaccounted for.
