Getting back to this issue of what the President can do and what he has done.
He publicly stated that he had instructed all of his staff to cooperate with
the investigation. What else can he do? Chew them all out in private?
Honestly, what can he do? Threaten them with economic sanctions? Invade the
West Wing? Have them all declared enemy combatants and have them shipped to
Guantanamo and put into "stress positions" until they talk? What exactly is the
President supposed to do? You seem long on outrage and short on answers for how
to get at the truth here.

If I were the person who had committed the leak, I would just keep my mouth
shut and hope that Judy Miller doesn't buckle in jail. If my theory that she
was the first one told and is the one who knows the identity of the leaker, as
long as she stays quiet, the leaker stays out of jail.
