Did anyone think to ask him? You know, take a statement. Good thing about
suicide bombers is there is now one less. Better than the old bag bombers of
the IRA. Bad thing is there are many, many more ready to follow.

Hopefully it went off prematurely. If he made it into the hotel that could
have been terrible. I guess this is where I stand on the War on Terrorism.
Even in a very, very tiny country like Israel, that is militarized and
police stated to the teeth, you cannot stop these guys. Imagine trying to do
this in America? The cost would be the same as Russia trying to compete with
us in an arms race. It would do the same thing the Reagan era arms race did,
hurt both countries economically. We are still $5+ trillion in debt with no
hope of ever paying it off. The interest accrues at an enormous rate. Is
that ever in the news? Why not? Do we just ignore it?

It seems funny, when you look at the big picture, that the tax relief
package really did not help anyone out much (the increase in my utilities
easily offset any money I may get back. I would imagine the same is true for
most people). $1.5 trillion that could have paid off part of our debt, that
we all incurred, piecemealed out as a political tool. Yet the executives at
the top of these companies pay themselves multi-millions. Crazy really. Just
crazy. Er, unless you are an executive.
