Blah! I agree with Jennifer. And I don't think it was justified given the circumstances, which is what a few people were saying in the previous thread.
Most of the early information on a situation are skewed by news agencies toward hype and the image they want to project, but we can't fault ourselves for commenting on those facts as presented, can we ? :) I think the shooting sets a dangerous precedent. It's not enough to 'think' someone's a terrorist or acting strangely, and thus shoot them. If that is what Police are going to be doing, then they damned well had better be armed with Tasers,tranquiliser darts, or some other totally non lethal knock out device!
