I don't consider liberty in same vein as land ownership, I see Liberty as
something that prevents tyranny.

Liberty, is what allows to take advantage of social constructs like property
ownership and voting. Due process allows us to suspend the liberty of those
that seek to infringe of the rights of others. However, in some cases I
think we go too far. For instance, I think convicts should be allowed to
vote.

Tyranny is what happens when you start selecting who gets what rights.
