According to the Whitehouse Mr. Bolton is going to clean up the UN, however who in the UN is going to listen to Mr. Bolton knowing that his gov't isn't behind him? He barely got enough votes to come out of committee and then those votes were basically protest votes. The UN is going to completly ignore this guy because they know he's going to be gone sooner than later. He will be totally ineffectual. Think Mr. Purcell at Morgan Stanley: CEO? Yes. Effectual? It's interesting you think I'm out on a limb when this whole thing could've ended last year but instead is going the full 18 months. Further there's someone in jail and talk of criminally prosecuting her. And even more, the press has proof that Mr. Bush's executive team asked for and got the scoop on Mr. Wilson 2 days before his wife was outed. That wouldn't indicate an investigation going nowhere to me.
