Great feedback here. Tonight I'll say what the site is really all about, but it is good to know that the overall theme and feel of it seems to be getting through to people. :)
It leads me to think once we get some firm pictures up there, and the menu done properly people would be able to tell at a glance what it's all about and feel comfortable and right at home. Something we were really worried about was the space for content, but no one has mentioned that it feels cramped or that they get the impression there needs to be more space for that, so that's another good thing ^_^.
