I have to get a proof of concept out quickly and cannot seem to find the answer
anywhere I search.
I have two movie clips (position.swf - 40 frames and orbit.swf - 36 frames). I
need to play position.swf and when it finishes I need to play orbit.swf. I
added a loadMovie("orbit.swf, this) call to frame 41 of position.swf but I get
this ugly white transition screen. I tried to create a new SWF with 2
MovieClip objects ceated, but orbit.swf plays as soon as it loads, not when
position.swf finishes playing. I also get the ugly transition screen as well.
Can someone point me in the right direction for a good explanation for loading
and controlling movies in Flash? My brain is so fried from researching this, I
can't think anymore. I suspect I need to create a MovieClipLoader object, but
I'm not sure how to detect when the original movie finishes so I can play the
next movie.
