If you get a chance catch B5. I never watched it when it was on but Netflixed the whole series a while back and loved it. (Netflix, by the way, is completely perfect for this kind of thing.) It was surprisingly good considering both it generally poorer acting and low (for sci-fi) budget. I think both DS9 and B5 may be better watching them "all in a lump" since you tend to catch many of the more subtle, interconnected moments.
