I hope Galatica will not shy away from that angle now that both Boomers are out of the picture. (And Boomer is totally hot.)
PURE SPECULATION: Spoilers if you have not seen the most recently aired episode. I don't think Boomer is out of the picture. I suspect the Caprica Boomer will show up on Galatica soon. Gaius is expecting a baby from somewhere, she is supposedly pregnant.
