I've been considering changing the locks on my front door to biometric
based locks. I will probably still allow entry be key. I might leave
the back door key only entry. I will probably try it on my wood shop
first as a beta test.

Ideally I would want to set up 4 or 5 levels of security.

Known individuals would be assigned a security level.

Level 1: Immediate Family - Open the door (as daughters get a little
older record time and open the door)

Level 2: Extended (approved) Family - announce XXXXX is here and open
the door.

Level 3: Friends or unapproved family: Announce - Name is here. Wait for
human intervention to open the door

Level 4: unknown visitor - Ring door bell

Level 5: known pest (relative, identified salesperson, door to door
religious zealots etc...) provide small electrical charge through the
biometric reader. Increase intensity with each subsequent reading for
the same individual. Do not ring door bell.

General if statements:

If individual is not level 1 or 2 and:

it is between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm announce system closed for dinner come
back later.

It is prior to 9:00 on a weekend - announce please comeback after 9:00
am.

It is after 9:00 pm we are closed, please comeback tomorrow (record name
and attemptNumber = 1)

attemptNumber gt 0 announce we are still closed and 911 has been
notified please leave the premises now.
