Of course, this is the time of year for strange visions. Some of these,
like the glowing sheep, will have something to do with low-energy
ultraviolet light. The rest, we must assume will be attributable either
to divine visitations or a powerful party punch. Alcohol may temporarily
turn us into shiny, happy people, but the dehydration it causes can
leave us feeling a little tarnished the morning after. How does alcohol
cause dehydration and how much water must you drink to compensate for
this effect? When drinking a gin and tonic does the water in the tonic
compensate for the effect of the alcohol? As the festive season gets
