I'm affected way more than I would have though I'd have been, had you
asked me a week ago.  My sister cried all through yesterday -- she
doesn't remember anyone behind the ABC anchordesk but him, until last April.

The guy changed the way that Americans look at foreign problems -- or at
least tried his best to change it.  We owe the dude.

ABC had a nice tribute on last night.  It was kind of fitting that it
pre-empted the news.
