This is my biggest pet peeve about macromedia.com. I use to use the Exchange constantly, now I avoid it like the plauge. Suggested improvements: 1) The default landing page for the Exchange should have a search dialogue on it. I don't have stats (MM surely does), but I'd bet 90%+ people who go to the Exchange are there to search for something, not to look at what the most popular 3 things are. In addition to that, the same three things have been "most popular" for ColdFusion for about 3 years. It's pretty obvious that someone at a couple of those companies is click-bombing those items to get them up in the ratings. Even if they aren't - it's been three years - just gimmie the search! 2) Increase the viewport of the search results. I want to see results on my whole screen, not 25% of the screen. I *HATE* scrolling inside a flash window that's inside a browser window. If I wanted a little bitty screen I'd re-size my broswer. I'm want as much data as fast as I can get it. I have shit to do and don't have time to sit and appreciate some designer's idea of a pretty screen. I think of little tiny flash scrolling viewports as the same thing as looking through an empty paper towel roll all day. I can't see any object all at once and have to keep moving around to point at the little part I want to see. I understand designers thing they are pretty and shiny - but they make the site alot less useful. The Forums fill the whole (available) screen and don't have little annoying scrolly boxes around them.
