The game of this argument, you don't think this is serious do you? You
don't honestly believe that a University educated IT specialist could
actually not know what a drug free workplace is in context.

> I thought we were talking about a "drug free workplace".

We were, but we strayed well off that in the realms of defining a drug. And
for the record, alcohol still is and sugar still isn't! In the recently
quoted "Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act" it defines a drug as...

<QUOTE>The term "drug" means (A) articles recognized in the official United
States Pharmacopeia, official Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States,
or official National Formulary, or any supplement to any of them</QUOTE>

There is more but the rest is combined with this statement with an "AND" so
if it doesn't fit this first criteria it doesn't count. In a previous email
I already quoted the official United States Pharmacopeia where about half a
dozen alcohol's were listed and sugar was not, and to be honest I can't be
bothered looking up the other two.

These two references combined means as far as the US government is concerned
alcohol is a drug and sugar is not, if you want to argue the point further
may I recommend a letter to your Congressperson
(http://www.house.gov/writerep/) or perhaps even to Mr Bush himself to see
if they can change their definition to suit you.

> irrelevant and unrelated to the subject at hand...

Absolutely, fun init.

> whatever... Shouldn't you be doing something else? Like
> sorting your dental floss by weight and category? ...

See there you go again, resorting to personal insult and character
assassination just because you can't think of anything intelligent to say.
Awwwwwww. ;)
