Since I don't know any detail about the display these ideas could be just plain
retarded when applied to your specific need... but I like to think they could
lead in a good direction. ;^)

A little off, but thanks for the effort. No dates just integers. I am using
tool tips and a "pop-up" DHTML layer that gives the full name and description
of all the column and row headers.

Goal: Integer of how many blood products management hopes to get on a given day.

Expected: Integer of how many blood products should be collected on a given day
based on scheduled donations.

Created: Integer of how many blood products where actually collected on a given
day from scheduled and walk in donations minus failures.

Unfortunately I am dealing with a culture that is very particular about word
choice. My HTML table is actually part of a much bigger project of trying to
define various terms such a "donor," "donation" and "created" so that we all
are talking about the same thing.

As it currently stands a donor to the recruitment department might by anybody
we get in the door, but to hospital services it is somebody who we got a
useable product from that was delivered to a hospital for use.
