Spoilers are to provide downforce over a drive axle, putting a spoiler on a
front wheel drive car provides the opposite effect causing the car to loose
traction. If you want to glue the car to the pavement, use ground effects,
front air dams and side skirts these will create a vacuum effect under the car
and pull it down.

What did they do to the civic engine to pull 1100HP, I know how to get 4000 HP
out of a V-8. I thought F-1 engines were it at 745HP

1. Most of the real 4 cyl monsters are all wheel drive not front wheel
drive.

2. Spoilers are to keep your car on the ground at high speed. Mine
doesn't work until over 100 mph.

3. Please don't confuse the ricer kids with the serious sport compact
enthusiast.

Would an 1100 HP civic do?

I know you said 4 cyl so I won't talk about the Supras I have seen.
