I think the best part about the highway bill is the spin flying out of the White House. Bush promised that he'd veto over a certain dollar figure. Congress delivered that dollar figure +2 Billion. So our pres, who apparently does not believe in 'tough love' signed it anyway and now his flacks are all saying "look how far it came down." So? he made a statement, I will not sign this if it is over a certain amount. After all what's a couple billion when we're talking about taxes, right?
