Welp!

The site design was finalised and put 'Near Live' meaning it is
sitting there just waiting for an href on the front page to be
activated *grin*

www.carnivaltribe.com/index.cfm

There was a big party for the carnival band and I saw the design up on
two huge plasma screens, it was very neat :)

Also, a note to people. Remember to pay attention to the small details
that we all take for granted. It is easy to get caught up in a large
project and worry about the 'big things', like what modules need to be
written a fresh, and getting lots of content up and properly ordered
on the website.

BUt never lose sight of the basics.

Like Screen Resolution. Always ensure that the site works at the
advertised resolution, never take it for granted.Check after each and
every design change.

Do cross browser checks regularly during the development timeline, set
aside time even through content gathering and programming as it's just
as important as those aspects, and can't be done just at the start of
the project, especially when a design fluctuates due to client requests
and isn't 'locked down'. Never have only Techies provide feedback on a
site design.

Just some things I gathered from this project so far, it ain't over yet ;-)
