Movie clips?  It's not the storage, but the bandwidth that will eat you 
alive.  Anyway, inexpensive services are considerably better than 
working with "free" - check out 1and1.com or godaddy.com to look at 
their registration/hosting packages.  You'll get better customer service 
than the old "friend-of-a-friend" website routine, and you'll have much 
more control (presumably) over the site.

FYI - 1and1's cheapest package is $5 a month ($60/year) with 1 GB of 
storage and 25GB of transfer.  I'm sure there are cheaper ones out 
there, but just look around.
