I understand why they want to do this, from a security perspective. They want 
to be able to tap these kinds of phones in criminal cases, in national security 
cases, etc. This is a hopeless effort, though. Creating an inventory of every 
Wi-Fi access point in the US? Including GPS in Net phones? Yeah, like that 
technology isn't going to get hacked as soon as it comes off the shelf.
