Well if lobbying congress and protesting outside the white house are futile efforts -- which they've proven to be... no idea where it came from, but I think the saying is appropriate here: "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results". This isn't the country we founded anymore -- it's no longer possible for a single individual in the US to influence... really much of anything... if you don't ahve a) LARGE sums of money (Trump) or b) a position of inscrutable authority (Bush), or C) close personal friends with LARGE sums of money or positions of inscrutable authority (Rove), then you're pretty much SOL. Recommending that she lobby Congress or protest outside the white house is like recommending that someone use a roll of party streamers to stop a Mack truck. It may be that there is some obscure manner in which that can be accomplished, but it's silly to think that the average person has really any chance of success.
