The point being made is Most Jews have always wanted peace and have no problem living side by side with Palestinians. 20 years ago most Palestinians wanted peace but had to sit quietly or be killed by their own. Now the hatred towards Jews is taught in schools and in the press and is having an effect on the population.
It's not about who started it, it's about who's willing to make sacrifices. The Jews have been making too many scarifies in the name of peace and getting nothing in return. Remember Arafat?
