What do *I* think? I think the military in Iraq is not equipped to
know who *is* a civilian, and that mistakes are made. Maybe even all
the time.

 I think that the soldiers that are there are dong their best to do a
job that really can't be done with the resources that are available to
them, that this state of affairs not only was predictable, it was
predicted, and that the Bush administration demonstrated a negligence
and disregard for the facts and for human life that could well be come
to be viewed as criminal when all the facts are out. That's what I
think.

Yeah, terrorist is probably a stretch, but there are people out there
who think it and believe it, and have some basis for believing it.
There's at least as much evidence to support the label as there is to
support the assertion that we're there to bring democracy and women's
rights ;)
