Please note; I made no comments about his immediate reaction. Believe it or not I don't remember ever seeing that news clip, therefore I can't comment on it.

After hearing the country is under attack he just sits there like an idiot reading an upside down book. This is a character revealing moment: he's told the country is under attack and he literally has no idea what to do except sit there. After he snapped out of it and decided to do something he did all right. And later, when visiting ground zero he was fantastic. But so what? Most politicians given time and coaching can be good in those times. It's the character revealing moment that counts, and for him it was caught on film. That totally flummoxed look will be part of his legacy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:170792 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
