Go with the Samsung 42-incher. You should be able to pick up last years model for about the same price. It won't be a refurb, and it will probably be a generation ahead of the Toshiba, Samsung's on their 5th generation of DLP TVs. But, I don't think the 42's have a PC input like the rest of the Samsung DLPs...
