The baseball law of averages says that while the Royals are a bad team, they 
aren't HISTORICALLY bad. So that ridiculous 19 game losing streak needs to 
be at least partially balanced out.....hence we've won 4 of 5 since breaking 
the streak. Sox were simply victims of baseball's statistical homeostasis. 
(hey, i need to patent that two-word phrase :)

Schilling will be fine. But i'd be worried about a motivated Yankees squad 
winning the wild card.
