Do you know anyone in Ocean City MD? Ian and I live in Sacramento California. As you enter Sacramento from the West there is a sign that reads Ocean City MD 3027 miles or something like that.
We want to take a picture of us holding a small box in front of that sign. We then want to pass the box on to someone to move the box in general direction of Ocean City. We will include a pack of avery labels and ask everyone who helps move the box to put the date and city on a label and affix it to the box. We are thinking of putting a bunch of small items in the box with a note that says take an item and replace it with something else then move the box along its way. We will also build a simple website to track the progress of the box for those who wish to report their contact with the box online. We will allow uploading of photos and the inputting of text. We just want to see how long it takes to get to someone in Ocean City and where the box goes in its travels. Hopefully, we get pictures of the box in cities and in front of famous landmarks all over the country. So if you live in Ocean City or know of someone who wouldn't mind having their address on a box heading their way let me know.
