This whole situation is awful. We have embarrassed ourselves in front of the whole world. We cannot keep peace, and feed our own people in time of emergency. In a city that has known for years this is not a possibility but simply a matter of time. I don't remember this kind of looting, and civil unrest after the tsunami. Not only have we displayed how ill-prepared we are but look how vunerable we are right now. What would happen if we were attacked in the next few days? Could we respond adequatley? Seems to me we are strectched a little thin right now.
