I am almost done with this class thank God. The Microsoft book is cryptic, the lab manual plain wrong in many places (for example, insert the CD and install the msi file in the foo folder, and there is no foo folder...) and the teacher lazy and gnomic. Don't get me started on the virtual PC installs. What I have learned I have learned by spending Waaaaaaay too much time banging my head through the labs anyway and yes, google has been my friend. I feel better now. May I mention that in contrast, Cisco provides all of its curriculum online, there is no need to buy a $95 book, and the labs are a model of clarity. Oh and the MS test bank bears no relation at all to the material it is allegedly testing on. I have a few mysteries remaining in the test I have to turn in for my incomplete, and will post those now to see if anyone should have an opinion. Maybe we can take a poll.
