South of the dome things have always been worse as far as the people who
live there. I am not sure if a Star of Hope is still by the Dome, the star
of hope that I have volunteered at in the past is over by the Minute Maid
baseball park which would be in walking distance of the George R Brown
center. They are being fed and have thus far had an overwhelming amount of
local volunteers. I believe the city is paying Amarmark(sp?) for a few more
days to feed them, then food comes from the donations from churches but I am
not 100% on that.
