There is a board available from Gigabyte for the pc that allows you to
use 4GB of RAM as a 'solid state' hard disk.

There were no appreciable increases in performance in regular
application use running from this super fast RAM, compared to a SATA
hard disk, contrary to what common sense would seem to dictate.

But it sounds great on paper.
