I don't think he did it for so noble a cause. I think he got out (and
probably into another job) before the excrement really hit the fan.

The media has just started to tear down his house (disecting his
resume, his work history, his bio put out by the White House.)

They haven't even started on truly placing the blame for this disaster.

I don't think he can stand the kind of scrutiny he is about to receive.

I think we can see a fairly clean sweep at the top of FEMA, and
probably some movement at Homeland Security (although not the top few
spots)

I think you will also see a very organized push to wrest the Gov and
Mayoral and state rep jobs from the Democrats on the scene who muffed
the ball.
