We all know that guys are far less discerning than women. So the good looking guys will marry good looking and averaging looking women. The average guys will marry the average looking and ugly women. (Of source there will be exceptions, a good looking guy will occasionally marry an ugly woman (especially if she is gifted in bed) or an average guy will get an upgrade etc..)
