it's not so much serv-u being hackable... as it is.. being used as a
tool /by/ script kiddies and hackers. serv-u will run hidden.. which
is what you want if you are squatting on a box.. it as a remote admin
to it.. so once the box is hacked... normally through a buffer
overflow of /some/ sort... a compiled exe or trojan will then download
a serv-u server and config file.. then start it..... or so abouts....
