I did something similar when I was married to my first wife. I was Playing football with her two brothers in the backyard and the ring Was already a little loose fitting on my finger and it slipped off During the game sometime. I did not realize it until I was taking a shower and I was read the riot act thinking I lost it on purpose.
So that night I was in the yard with her 2 brothers and flashlights Looking for it. Good thing was I found it.
