I was quite prepared to live alone for a long long time ... but when we got
together it was as if we had already been together for a long long time.
There was none of that awkward first date stuff and everything we did
together was very familiar ...

EXACTLY! I had come out of an 8 year relationship that went absolutely no
where (though we had a lot of good times) and Philip had been in and out of
one as well ... and I know I come across as exceptionally goofy at times,
but when it comes to life decisions, I can be exactingly serious ... and
this is one that doesn't make me nervous in the least bit.

I am very happy for the first time in a long long time and it feels rather
swell!

<I would insert all kinds of other sappy things, but I know people are
trying to eat their breakfast and stuff .... >
