Don't forget, the estimated body count by the mayor was more than 10,000. I knew when I saw that, the media would be worked into a frenzy and that the mayor was incapable of handling the situation. To say a number like that with no facts to back it up is irresponsible and shows a clear lack of wisdom.

Nagin told Winfrey the crowd has descended to an "almost animalistic state."
