Yeah, I think the Bush administration has really done lasting harm in some
ways. I was riding around town with my son when a recruiting ad for the Army
National Guard came on, the one about duty and honor and serving your
country in desperate times. He thought it was hysterical. In some ways that
is kind of sad. I wonder how many other kids who might have wanted to serve
their country will not because they don't want to be in the next Iraq.
