Bring cash only if you plan on doing stuff outside the resort - which
I'd recommend. 99.9% of the time you won't need it on the resort. Only
if you want to buy stuff in the gift shop - and they take MC/Visa. I
also think that you can just charge it to your room and pay at the end.

Sorry - I stayed at the Regency, but don't play golf. The course looked
really nice, though. Not sure about equipment and such, however. As
far as clothes, you don't need anything special except shorts, etc
during the daytime. At night, you're expected to dress up a little bit.
Nice shorts/cotton pants and collared shirts were the norm.

A definite must was the "Jeep Tour" - (even though it is a Range Rover)
it was a GREAT way to see the island, learn the history, get some
trinkets, etc. You can book this and many other activities at the
concierge desk at Regency. They are not affiliated with the resort, so
you have to pay them separately. I'd also recommend highly the (free)
Snorkeling tour. They go out twice a day, leave from the resort, they
provide all the equipment. This IS run by Sandals, they have some
awesome boats.

We're pretty laid-back on vacation, so most of our time was spent on the
resort itself. You don't really need to leave to have fun, but those
two things will get you out there to see the island enough to feel like
you didn't spend your time in a compound. Start work on the little
sandals as soon as you get there. You'll enjoy the little memento that
you get to keep forever. Oh, and book yourself reservations within the
first two days of being there. The restaurants fill up quick. I HIGHLY
recommend the Japanese Steak place at Regency, and the Italian place is
nice too. Also, I'd travel to The Grand for a dinner - they have some
fantastic food there. Tangorre could recommend the best places, as he
just stayed there.
